  abstract = {We present a formal framework to find answers and explanations to complex queries over biomedical ontologies and databases, using the high-level representation and efficient automated reasoners of Answer Set Programming. Over this framework, we develop an intelligent user-interface that allows users to enter biomedical queries in a natural language, and that presents the answers also in that natural language. We show the applicability of our approach with some queries over PharmGKB, DrugBank, CTD and Sider.}
